Susan Kare
Born February 5th, 1954
Susan Kare played a key-role in the consumer adoption of the Graphical User Interface.
Kare worked on the Apple II's development by creating the now iconic design language of the machine. Her work is defined by polish and intentional minimalism. Since the Apple II was one of the first consumer machines, her work has impacted millions and set a very high standard for human-machine interaction.
In 2022, her landmark iconography work was put on display for The Lyon’s Museum of Printing and Graphic Communication
